Yes. A lot of older homes in LA were never built with ducts, so we install and service ductless mini-split systems as often as we do central air. If your house has window units right now, we can talk you through what a mini-split setup would actually look like.

Do you handle both home and business HVAC?

We do both. Homes are where we're growing right now, but we still take on commercial jobs — rooftop units, commercial maintenance, the works.

How fast can someone come look at my system?

We're open 8am to 5pm, Monday through Saturday. Call during those hours and we'll get you on the schedule as soon as we can, usually the same week and often sooner.

A lot of the wall furnaces still running in LA are old — some with nothing more than a manual dial and no real thermostat control. Common issues include a pilot light that won't stay lit, a burner that won't ignite, uneven heat because the unit isn't sized for the space, or a dial that no longer controls temperature the way it should. We diagnose the actual cause instead of just telling you to replace it.

Repair or Replace an Old Wall Furnace?

Older wall furnaces with no blower — just a dial — are noticeably less efficient than the modern fan-assisted versions, and California sets a real minimum efficiency standard for both types. The same safety concerns that apply to any gas furnace apply here too: a flame that's yellow instead of blue, or a unit that's clearly deteriorated, is worth having checked rather than living with.

Replacing a Wall Furnace Doesn't Mean Losing the Format

If your wall furnace needs replacing, you're not stuck with the same old technology — modern fan-assisted wall furnaces exist and run more efficiently than the older style. If the space would actually be better served by a different setup entirely, a ductless mini-split is also worth considering, since it heats and cools from the same unit without needing ductwork either.
